If someone had shown me these books a year ago and told me I'd be writing and illustrating them, I would have said, "No way--- I can't do that!" Yet, here they are!
We have so much potential. We just need to give ourselves a chance.

My story, your connection
From the heart of Stratford, Ontario, I pour my experiences and imagination into every book. Through Awkward Emily and my Emma Social Emotional Learning (SEL) books, I create stories and characters that connect through sharing smiles, small moments of honesty, humour and heart. My hope is that every story leaves readers feeling understood, encouraged, and a little less alone. Each piece is a little bit of me, made for you.
